mind is completely attentive to what’s happening around us, from what you are
doing to the way the world moves around us. When we stray from mindfulness, we
become obsessive, anxious, and unsteady with all that is happening. It is the
ability to be fully present, aware, and not overly reactive to what is
happening around us. It is innate; We just have to learn how to access this
skill.
If we are born with the ability to be
mindful, why do we get overwhelmed? Anxious? Why do we become obsessive? Often
times, we need to reeducate ourselves on mindfulness practices, such as

Mindfulness is not obscure; Rather, it is quite familiar, like an old friend. We practice mindfulness every day, without even realizing it; It’s simply being present in the moment. It’s stopping to smell the roses, watching the clouds float by in the breeze, and listening to the waves crash on the shore.
Three main components make up the practice

In order to practice mindfulness, there are a few things we need to understand. First, there is absolutely no way to truly quiet your mind. The goal is not to find a bliss state, but to become aware of the present moment. Your mind will most definitely wander; As we pay attention to what’s going on with our bodies and minds, we find that more than one thought will creep its way into our heads. Your mind will most likely wander to anywhere but where you are, and that’s okay. It’s part of human nature, and it provides the essential moment for mindfulness practice: The moment you realize your mind has wandered, you can consciously bring it back to the present moment. When you do this more and more, it becomes easier to focus on the moment you’re in.
We as humans tend to judge ourselves, and
quite harshly. Although this inner critic can save us in some instances, more
often than not, it can bring us down and make us feel horrible about ourselves.
By investigating our judgments and dispersing them, we can choose how we look
at, and react, to almost everything in our lives. While practicing Meditation
Training, it is imperative that we don’t judge our thoughts that creep
their way in to our minds. Instead of judging yourself on these thoughts, try
to make a mental note of them, and focus on letting the thoughts pass. Mindfulness Training Online
is all about returning our minds to the present moment, and by focusing on your
thoughts as they come, and letting them float by, we can learn the sensation of
letting our thoughts pass us, and focus on the now.
